 Известен лектор започнал семинара си в зала с 200 човека и 100-доларова банкнота в ръка.
- Кой иска тази банкнота?
Всички вдигнали ръце.
- Ще я дам на един от вас тази вечер, но преди това … Скъсал банкнотата на няколко парчета.
- Кой я иска сега?
Пак всички ръце се вдигнали.
- А ако направя така…
Той я пуснал на земята и започнал да я тъпче и размазва. Тя вече на нищо не приличала. Вдигнал я. Мръсна, изпокъсана.
- А сега? Кой я иска?

"...Погрешното пренебрегване на тялото може да се илюстрира с една история за Молла Насредин, суфийски мъдрец и свят безумец. Насредин си купил магаре, но му струвало много да го храни, затова той замислил план. С всяка седмица той давал на магарето все по-малко храна. Накрая започнал да му дава само една малка чашка жито за целия ден. Както изглежда, планът бил успешен и Насредин си спестявал много пари. Тогава за жалост магарето умряло...
